This course is designed to provide delegates with the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to develop their compentency, to conduct risk assessments in-line with legislation and council policy.
The training will consist of practical and theoretical exercises, which will assist candidates to identify work related hazards, assess the level of risk and implement practical control measures.

Examples of what makes a suitable and sufficient risk assessment will be discussed and good practice tips and guidance will be provided.

IMPORTANT: Those delegates with limited knowledge on the subject area, may find it helpful to complete the iHasco Health and Safety for Managers eLearning training before attending the virtual trainer led session. The eLearning training can be accessed directly through the eLearning section of the Learning Gateway.
