What the research says.
Research on performance management shows:
Frontline managers effective at people management can improve their teams' performance by 25%, retention by 40% and commitment to the organisation by 29%. releasing even part of this potential will support the organisation’s performance
We also learn that 37% of managers are considered effective at evaluating performance through formal reviews, but that all managers can increase their effectiveness by focusing on two key areas: performance review preparation and performance review delivery.
This is a half day workshop focussing on performance conversations. The course consists of a virtual workshop from CEB (Corporate Executive Board) including constructive feedback discussions; delivering formal reviews; managing negative reactions to feedback; a performance discussion guide and a performance review checklist. As part of this learning pathway you will be able to access further training and resources including existing corporate courses, the new CEB (Corporate Executive Board) material, elearning and tools and tips for people and performance management.
We value your feedback in shaping this half day. Please give feedback at the end of the session and this will be used to improve the training provided.
This workshop outlines what is expected of our managers when carrying out performance plans with their staff and taking into account the new PDP process and the new Behaviours framework.
