This course is suitable for frontline workers in Children’s Services working with children over 5 years of age. If you require baby and child specific training, please see the 2 day Paediatric First Aid course details to confirm which course is suitable for your service.

This one day course enables first aiders to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill. It includes both theory and practical sessions and is designed to boost candidate confidence. There is no final exam but candidates are assessed throughout the course and certificates, valid for three years, are issued to those who have reached the required standard. Each candidate will be provided with a First Aid manual.
