Code: BH/19/1083 Understanding Health & Safety Liabilities - for BHCC Senior Managers (by invitation only)

This event is by invitation only.

The tragedy at Grenfell Tower last year and the recent sad incident at one of our schools resulting in the fatality of a Caretaker, are a powerful reminder of the magnitude of risks being managed daily across all services either provided or commissioned on behalf of the council.

A number of Barrister led facilitated workshops have been arranged for senior managers to help you better understand your role in protecting our citizens, the council, its officers and indeed yourself from corporate and personal liability/prosecution. The session will provide an overview of organisational and individual liability, prosecution of local authorities for health and safety offenses and sentencing guidelines.

Attendance at one of these workshops is mandatory so it would be appreciated if you can re-arrange any other events that may prevent attendance.
