Overview
This course is designed to provide candidates with the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to conduct risk assessments in line with legislation and council policy

 

The training will consist of practical and theoretical exercises, which will assist candidates to identify work related hazards, assess the level of risk and implement practical control measures

Examples of what makes a suitable and sufficient risk assessment will be discussed and good practice tips and guidance will be provided

By the end of this course you will:


 

   • conduct health & safety risk assessments in line with council policy
   • be able to identify a range of health & safety hazards
   • be able to assess the level of risk and identify suitable controls
