  • list different types of brain injury

  • describe common physical, cognitive and psychological impairments as a result of a brain injury

  • describe ways in which brain injury can impact upon decision making and implications for professionals working with capacity

  • reflect on coping strategies from a person centred approach

  • list resources available for people with acquired brain injury and their families in the Brighton and Hove area
