Cultural Intelligence – How to Work Inclusively with Diverse Children and Families
Brighton & Hove is comprised of a diverse community with a range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds. It is crucial that practitioners are skilled and competent in engaging with families from different cultural backgrounds, to work in an anti-discriminatory way and ensure that issues of race and culture are integrated into assessment and decision-making.
Please note that after the first morning session with the facilitator, you will be expected to complete a short practical exercise in the afternoon either on your own or in small groups. You will then get the opportunity to review this with the facilitator, in the morning on the second day.
