Overview

This course is for managers/supervisors in adult social care services that are required to induct new staff and for managers / supervisors to have an opportunity to increase their knowledge, skills and competence in delivering effective induction and supervision.

As the Care Certificate was introduced 4 years ago and is now embedded in Adult Social Care it will no longer be covered in the induction part of this course. Instead, general induction will be covered.

For those of you who do the Care Certificate as part of your workplace induction, there are a number of documents attached that will provide support for you in inducting staff, whether they are new to adult social care or have adult social care experience and / or a social care qualification.
