This course will help services to meet the quality requirements of the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety. It will also support staff to understand the importance of their own role in working with the CQC as well as the role of managers and other staff.
The course will cover the role of the Care Quality Commission and their methods of working, Essential Standards of Quality and Safety, CQC Regulations and Review methods, Quality Risk Profiles and Notifications and the importance of the provider’s own Quality Assessments. It will look at a variety of quality assurance methods and how these methods of feedback should be used to assist quality improvement.
