This 3 hour online workshop introduces the concept and practice of Mindfulness for child and adolescent wellbeing. This workshop will provide a number of experiential activities which may be applied in working with children and families and to workers own emotional wellbeing. We will briefly cover some of the current theory, research and evidence specifically related to children's and young people's mental health and further reading, training and development oppertunities will be highlighted.
There will be some gentle movement, so please wear comfortable clothing. You may also like to bring along a yoga mat, blanket and cushion, for the mindfulness practice.
