This course is for managers / supervisors who want to learn more about inducting new staff effectively. It is also for those who are currently supervising or new to supervising and would like to know more about how supervision works in practice. It is an opportunity to increase your knowledge, skills and competence in delivering effective induction and supervision.
As the Care Certificate was introduced 7 years ago and is now embedded in Adult Social Care it will no longer be covered in the induction part of this course. Instead, general induction will be covered.
For those of you who do the Care Certificate as part of your workplace induction, there are a number of documents attached that will provide support for you in inducting new staff, whether they are new to adult social care or have adult social care experience and / or a social care qualification.
This course is delivered across two virtual teams sessions.
