Overview
This course will look at how practitioners can support the development of a secure base for preschool children. It will explore the theoretical background to early relationships and the impact these have on children's development of secure and insecure attachments. There will be opportunities to consider how a secure base model can be applied in EYFS settings. It is relevant for all professionals who work with children and their families in preschool.
