Code: BH/20/1336 Risk Assessment (EVENT FULL)


IMPORTANT: before attending this course, participants are required to complete the iHasco Risk Assessment  eLearning training (approximately 1 hour). This can be accessed directly through the eLearning section on the Learning Gateway.

The trainer led virtual session delivered by ZOOM will form part 2 of the Risk Assessment training. We hope you can access the training with no technical difficulties. You will be sent a separate email with the Zoom access link before the course.

Zoom is a restricted site for BHCC staff, which will be unblocked for the duration of the course. There is no need for you to contact IT&D. Depending on your IT set up, you may find it easier to forward the link to personal device.

This two part course is designed to provide candidates with the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to conduct risk assessments in line with legislation and council policy
 
The training will consist of practical and theoretical exercises, which will assist candidates to identify work related hazards, assess the level of risk and implement practical control measures

Examples of what makes a suitable and sufficient risk assessment will be discussed and good practice tips and guidance will be provided
