Dementia Friends Information Sessions
The Dementia Action Alliance are providing some additional dementia friends information sessions for BHCC council staff and those from partner organisations
Dementia Friends Information Sessions are run by volunteer Dementia Friends Champions, who are trained and supported by Alzheimer’s Society. Each Information Session lasts around one hour. You will learn more about dementia and how you can help to create dementia friendly communities.

The Dementia Action Alliance are also able to provide team sessions
for services who wish to get on board and sign up to the DAA and undertake simple actions to then be awarded the Dementia Friendly 2018-2019 kite mark. The kite mark can be displayed on your premises to demonstrates to people that you are proactively helping to reduce the stigma attached to dementia.
