Permanent Brighton & Hove City Council staff (excluding schools)

There is no need to register. Select 'Login' and then 'Council Login'.  Your Council Login does not require a username or password and your details are taken from the BHCC staff details held in Pier by HR Establishment

New starters: If you are new to the council, HR records are updated around the 5th and 21st of each month so there may be a delay in your account being ready. If you need to access the gateway before your account is ready we can set you up with temporary access, please complete the new starter temporary request form. We will aim to process new starter request forms within 48 hours of your form being submitted. New starter request forms can be sent in by the manager prior to the employee starting.

All other agency staff, bank, sessional workers, apprentices, volunteers or students on placement with Brighton & Hove City Council will need to complete an account request form for access


Council staff logging in outside of the council network (eg on your smartphone, at home and not using Citrix); 
You will be prompted to manually login.  You need to login as follows:
Username: Your Brighton & Hove email address
Password: Your network password

External users (including all schools):

Funded training and accounts may be restricted to locally contracted services and partners
Already have an account: click here to login

Change in employment: If you have an account but have changed your place of work or employer, please contact us to get your account updated.
Need to register:
If your place of work or establishment has already been registered on the Gateway you can register and select your place of work from the establishment drop down lists on the registration page.
If your place of work or establishment has not yet been registered, this needs to be done first by the service manager or delegated training lead selecting 'my establishment is not listed' on the registration page. This is so we can ensure that the relevant person is set-up first and assigned the correct authorisations and access to training requests, bookings, fees and charges. Requests from other people will be deleted 
Foster Carers, Family Carers and Personal Assistants
· We may contact you to authenticate your request
· You will be notified when your account is authorised and you can login.
· When accessing the site select 'External Login' and sign-in using your username and password.
· If you forget your details select ‘forgotten your login details’
