Summary

This course is useful to anyone who works with adults who are at risk of abuse or neglect or who works in a service that applies to them.


All people who support adults should know how to safeguard them from harm. This not only includes frontline staff working in adult social care services, but anyone who provides services to people including adults; for example councillors, housing, leisure, libraries or reception staff. This course aims to raise your awareness of how we safeguard adults in Brighton & Hove.

 

Everyone who supports adults should know how to safeguard them from harm.
The course uses a series of questions and scenarios. These are not scored. Please try these even if you aren't sure of the answer. They are designed to encourage reflection on your current level of knowledge and understanding.
At the end of the module there is a graded Quiz.
The activities throughout the course do not contribute to your final Quiz score.
This module will take about one hour to complete.
